Albertans Scrambling To Keep Up With Bills
A recent MNP Consumer Debt Sentiment Survey found 35 per cent of Albertans don’t have enough money coming in to keep up with their financial obligations. With Alberta’s economic downturn and thousands of households across the province grappling with the harsh realities of unemployment, it’s not surprising to learn many are struggling financially. What is surprising, is just how many are on the brink of financial ruin with Alberta’s consumer debt the highest in the country. If these numbers are hitting a little too close to home, it might be time to speak with a debt professional. The sooner you get help, the sooner you can work towards getting back on track and in control.
The MNP Consumer Debt Sentiment Survey was conducted by Ipsos Reid on behalf of MNP. Global News Calgary posted an original article on September 28, 2016.
