Is It Possible To File A Partial Bankruptcy To Eliminate Credit Card Debt Only

If you proceed with a bankruptcy, you have to include all creditors. There are some debts that don't go away in a bankruptcy (e.g., some student loans, child or spousal support, and some others - seeDebts that Survive). Also, if you have a secured debt - for example, financing on a vehicle - in most cases you can keep the vehicle even after a bankruptcy if you are willing to continue making the payments on that loan. If you have a specific creditor that you're wondering about, let me know and I can give you more information. Judy Scott Meyers Norris Penny Limited 604-949-2100 judy.scott@mnp.ca
