Options Other Than Filing For Bankruptcy

2010-03-15   minute read

There are definitely options that we should look at besides filing for bankruptcy. Bankruptcy is certainly an option....but there are others we should take a look at as well. We have a list of options on our website. They range from consolidating, changes to your budget, outside help, selling assets.....all ideas in order to avoid filing something formal. If they don't work, there is the Orderly Payment of Debt program, a Proposal, or Bankruptcy. Which option will be right for you is going to depend on the specifics of your situation.  IE:  who you owe money to, how much, what kinds of assets you own, and what your budget look like. I'm not sure what region you live in.  I will reply directly to your email, or you could contact on of our counsellors in your area.  They are located on our websiteClick here.
