The $200 Dilemma In Manitoba And Saskatchewan
MNP’s recent Consumer Debt Sentiment Survey has revealed some startling statistics for people living in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Despite a struggling economy, low interest rates have given many a false sense of financial security. When it comes down to the brass tacks however, 64 per cent of those surveyed from the two provinces, admitted that if their monthly finances were declined by just $200, they would no longer be able to keep up with their financial obligations. Given the cost of living in today’s economic landscape, $200 isn’t a far budge.
The MNP Consumer Debt Sentiment Survey was conducted by Ipsos Reid on behalf of MNP. CTV News Winnipeg recently covered the statistics gathered in the survey in an original article which was originally posted online on September 28, 2016.
