A whole new perspective and a chance to enjoy my retirement years...
I was so sorry I got myself in this financial mess but am so happy to have had your help to lift that weight off my shoulders. Growing up, my parents did not really have so many credit cards. You could get an account at a department store (eg. Sears). When I first started working, there was no ATM so you took money out for the weekend. Banks were closed Saturday and Sunday so you budgeted and made the money stretch over the weekend. Then along comes credit cards that can be used anywhere and everything was too easy. At first, I was a smart credit card user, not charging too much, paying balance off each month, but alas later I became a dumb credit card user and sunk myself into debt. If it wasn’t for the help I received from the knowledgeable and terrific people at MNP, I don’t know what my future would have been like. They taught me to budget, think twice before spending (no more impulsive purchases) and the smart saving tricks they showed me has given me a whole new perspective and a chance to enjoy my retirement years. A sincere and heartfelt thank you.
