From the beginning I was very concerned of being judged/scrutinized for the decisions that had led up to my bankruptcy. Doug Stuive sat me down for my first and second consultation, he really helped me understand the process and helped with the worries, concerns and questions I had about filing for bankruptcy. He was very informative and helped me make the decision that was right for me by explaining all of the options I had available along with the pros/cons of each option. I never felt pressured. Everyone was very helpful throughout the process. Linda Barnsley sat down with me to review my budgets and expenses forms for the first few months. She answered all of my questions and made sure I was on track, which was very helpful and reassuring.
Whenever I had to come in and drop off a budget and expense form, Michele Proctor looked over anything I was unsure of and answered any of my questions as well. Throughout the process if I was ever in the office and Doug saw me he would go out of his way to chat for a few minutes and ask me how I was doing. Everyone at the office always made me feel comfortable.
Now that I have been discharged I really feel that a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and that I made the right decision by going to MNP. They've given me the opportunity and tools to ensure I can take care of myself financially.
